I have really fallen behind posting here… but let’s get started back up with some photos of one of my favorite places: Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma.

This is one of my happy places.  A place I always look forward to visiting.

I rarely see the sun come up in the morning, but when we’re at the lake, I watch the sunrise every day if it’s possible.  That is one of the most calming, peaceful, relaxing experiences.

I don’t like to swim in the lake (I’m the swimming pool kind of girl 😛 ), but I do love to sit by the water and listen to the gentle, lapping waves.

Sometimes I read… sometimes I just gaze out at God’s beautiful nature and get lost in my thoughts.

And I’m never quite ready to head home…..
